Bilberry is known for its anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, desensitizing and immunizing effects. It also increases the acuity of vision, counters eye fatigue after long hours spent with artificial lighting or in front of a computer and gears up retina regeneration. The blue pigment contained in bilberry suppresses the growth of bacteria. Bilberry has also been found effective as a preventive means capable of improving vision (night vision in particular).

Eyebright was so well known and used widely as an effective medication as far back as the medieval times that it was even praised in verse and poems. It has a clearly well-pronounced anti-inflammatory action and is used for comprehensive treatment of degenerative and dystrophic processes of the eye coat involving any form of eye inflammation and irritation, and also for increasing the acuity of vision.

Grapes (grape-stone extract) in terms of anti-oxidant action (owing to the high content of bioflavonoids) exceeds both vitamin E and ascorbic acid and thus constitutes a powerful defense of human organism against viral and other aggressive infections. It is also known for its ability to slow down substantially the process of cell aging.

Visuin – IF also includes the following components essential for the direct functional support of the organ of sight:

Vitamin А - takes part in the processes of twilight and color vision, increases the resistance of organism to various infection, beneficially bears on the state of cell membranes, tissue respiration, energy metabolism and has a positive effect on the exchange of amino acids.

Vitamin В2 - takes part in redox processes, ATP synthesis and generation of erythropsin, protects the retina from excessive impact of UV radiation and together with vitamin A provides normal vision, i.e. the acuity of color and light perception as well as dark adaptation.

Zinc - is a component part of over 200 metalloenzymes, one of which is identical to retinoldehydrogenase of the eye retina. In addition, being a component of the rethyl-bearing protein, zinc together with vitamin C and vitamin A precludes immunodeficiency, stimulates anti-body synthesis and has an anti-viral effect. The deficiency of zinc in organism can impair night vision.

Meletin is a basic component of many flavonoids. It can reduce the accumulation of sorbite in the eye lens thus slowing down the formation of cataract.
